Fun Sat with Cara and Oscar

We took Cara and Oscar out to eat. They were impatiently waiting for their chocolate milk and said they were thristy so I told them they could take a drink from my lemonade. After sliding the cup back and forth between them I finally convinced them they could take a drink at the same time.

After we got back home they went for the ride in their car. Cara wanted to drive!

Dinner at SPQR Restaurant!

After dinner we found an ice cream/bakery. Cara chose the ice cream while we chose eclairs!
Scott was shopping and found these tiny bananas in Little Italy.
Here we are riding the subway back from dinner! It was not crowded most of the time we rode!

Statue of Liberty

As you can see our trip to the Statue was a wet one! But we did get to go there! And we were all glad we brought our rain coats and umbrellas!

We discovered the M&M store where we found goodies for the other granchildren! Hope they enjoyed their games and shirts!

American Girl Cafe in NYC

NYC arrival

Here is Cara pulling her luggage in the airport at NYC. She had just found a brochure advertising Mary Poppins. So pulled out the brochure and kept saying Mary Poppins on Broadway as if she was reading the pamphlet. Her doll "Baby Cara" is sticking out of her bag! But she was tied in so she wouldn't fall out.

Unusual visitor!

We looked in the bak yard Saturday morning and saw our unusual visitor! The deer was around all day Saturday and most of Sunday.

Dillon and Oscar swimming lessons!

Dillon and Oscar completed swim lessons recently.  The last picture is Oscar swimming to the end of the pool.

Rock climbing

Dillon had the opportunity to go rock climbing when we were working at the Chicago Shootout last weekend!  The wall was a lot taller than it looks in these pictures.   

I have been trying to add Charlotte's video for this but cannot get it to load finally I have given up and chose this very cute picture.  Charlotte graduated from preschool.

First Grade Program

More Saturday Bubbles

After the ballgame we watched Oscar play with his bubble machines.  This one is a "grill" and he "cooks" his bubbles.  The other is a bubble blowing machine! It was making really big bubbles!

Saturday fun

Wow! it's baseball season and here is Dillon ready to bat.  I did not get a good picture of him in the field but was able to get a picture through the fence of him at bat! And his team won! which made it more exciting!
