Cara's Birthday

Here is Cara holding up her new Princess "Snow White" dress!
And after she finally tried it on I got the perfect picture for the "princess" frame I bought when we were at Disney.
Here she is blowing out her candles (there are two) but the castle pillars were hiding them!
But on her actual birthday we took her to the zoo, here she has just gotten off the carousel she wasn't too happy while she was on it but wanted to "go again" when it stopped! Happy birthday Cara!

Pizza!

Here we are out to eat again (a week later) we took four of the grandchildren out for pizza where they serve drinks on a train! We tried to get a picture of the train but it moved too fast.
Emily and Scott joined us for pizza and fun!
Then we took the kids to the local park! Here are Charlotte and Cara having a ride on a 'gator!
It was hard getting them interested in one apparatus at the same time but we did managed it here!
Oscar is having fun on this motorcycle! But he was so busy driving that he could not say cheese for grandma!

Car full of joy

Last weekend we out out to eat with three of the grandchildren and all decided they wanted to ride with grandpa and grandma. Here are Oscar, Vincent and Charlotte all in car seats or booster seats! And off to their favorite restaurant!
Here is Oscar with a new toy that G&G brought him before we went out to eat!
Doe we know who this is in a Storm Trooper mask?

FUN DAYS WITH CARA AND OSCAR

When they first saw each other they hugged!
Then the "hug" turned into a tackle move!
But all was well when they had a snack and were watching TV.

Here Oscar and Cara are "coloring". Several books and crayons are available but of course they want the same one!
While Stella was outside, Oscar and Cara decided to check out her cage!
But when it was suggested to lay down Oscar put his head on the floor of the cage but Cara thought Oscar's belly was softer!
But here they both decided to lay down!

Today we visited Oscar and Dillon and Lisa. I was trying to get a picture of Oscar's new shirt to show Daddy (Daddy was out of town) but Oscar wanted to take "his picture". In the last picture Oscar is talking to Daddy on the cell phone but Lisa couldn't get the cell phone camera to work! So I hope he sees these pictures!

And the Little League Champions Are...........

What an exciting game!

The Padres! It was a very exciting final game for the first and second graders from Hamilton Southeastern Little League. In the final inning the score is tied at 20 runs each, Dillon is at bat the bases are loaded, Padres just need one run to win! Dillon get two strikes and then on the next pitch he HITS! He makes it safe to first and a runner makes it home!! the game is over!! And Michael carries Dillon off the Field! The crowd went wild, champagne (i.e. sprite) was sprayed on the players (and Oscar).

Here is Dillon receiving is trophy!Oscar is usually wanting to go in the dugout with the boys, but tonight he sat in the bleachers eating his afterschool snack that Grandpa got for him!

After the game the team celebrated at Dairy Queen (but I did not get any pictures of that)
Here is Dillon posing with his trophy at home while Lisa and Oscar eat dinner from Moe's (the team sponsor)

Father's Day Get Together

Today on Father's Day we enjoyed the afternoon with a swim at Joe and Amy's pool. I have pictures of Oscar getting ready to go down the slide. Grandpa is watching to make sure he climbs ok, then Cara decided to try it! We all clapped when they came up! they were both excited. And then I have a picture of Dillon going down the slide, actually we went down several times but I only got one picture. I did not get any pictures of Oscar "swimming" to the bottom of the pool to pick up darts. We had a great time watching the little ones enjoying the pool and playing together!
