Concert

Emily invited us to attend an outdoor concert at Scott's school. Cara is either holding her hat on or covering her ears? Charlotte and Vincent sat on a blanket listening to the choirs sing and the bands play.

Pre K Graduation

Vincent and his class had Pre-K Graduation on Friday. Here he is receiving his diploma and his celebration dinner at Applebee's.

"Go Fish"

Dillon had a play at school called "Go Fish" here is a picture of him as a crab. Other sutdends were sharks, cowboys, starfish. lobsters. And Oscar had fun seeing all of the costumes.

Oscar's First Birthday

We also celebrated Oscar's first birthday! In the top picture he is sitting in his new rocking chair. In the next picture he is having a discussion with cousins Vincent and Cara. And then it was cake time, he wasn't quite sure what to do when a lit candle was placed in front of him and kept reaching for the candle but big brother helped him blow it out. It didn't take too much encouragement to get him to "eat" it. Not quite sure how much he ate verses how much he "wore". But after a quick trip to the bathtub he was huggable again!

Easter

All of the grandchildren came over today for their Easter basket from Grandpa and Grandma. Here are some of the pictures of today's activities.

Dr Suess

Last week at Dillon's school they had a Dr Suess play. Daisy-Head Mayzie. Dillon played "the detective". It was a very cute play by all of the students in his first grade class.

A weekend with the Grandchildren

Last weekend we went to Vincent's basketball game, the took Vincent and Charlotte shopping, on Sunday we went to Dillon's basketball game. But I did not get pictures of Oscar and Cara who were also there for Dillon's final tournament game. But here are some of our weekend highlights. Charlotte helped Grandma bake cookies by adding her favorite sprinkles. Vincent was anxious to put his Lego set together!

I took a picture of my new "photo wall" I am still working on it trying to get the pictures to hang straight. I could not stand in front of the pictures because the glass of the pictures glared. But they are not as bad as they look here.

Here are more pictures given to me from the surprise photo shoot! Cara is 5 months, Oscar is 8 months, Charlotte is 3 years, Vincent is5 years and Dillon is 7 years.

What a great..........

What a great surprise, our daughter and daughters-in-law really surprised us by getting all 5 of the grandchildren together for a group photo session. Trying to get all five smile at the same time I am sure was a task, especially since two of them are infants. But they were great pictures and much appreciated. Starting clockwise is Charlotte 3, Cara 5 months. Vincent 5, Oscar 8 months, and Dillon7.

And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care. Awaiting the children and granchildren to come on Christmas Eve.

Family Christmas Party

Santa made a special visit to the family Christmas party. Here are pictures of Cara, Vincent and Charlotte and Oscar having a special conversations with Santa. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of Dillon visiting with Santa but I'm sure he has written him a letter. But Dillon still has time to have a Santa meeting.

CHARLOTTE IS THREE

Charlotte celebrated her third birthday today! She gots lots of new toys. "Dora" is her favorite she loves her new castle and her Fisher Price Camera and lots of other toys too.
